While it is clear that 2020 will never be forgotten by anyone old enough to remember it, the events of 2020 continue to build stronger ties within communities and no more so in small Villages like Swallowcliffe. In the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with limited local transport links, anyone forced to self-isolate for two weeks could soon find themselves in need of urgent support. The residents of Swallowcliffe very quickly put that support in place and now the Village has been recognised by the Salisbury Journal and been named: Hamlet (Small Village) of the Year 2020
