Reporting Flooding:
Reporting of flooding is crucial for incident response and also for long term planning of flood risk reduction measures. If your community has been impacted by flooding but it has not been reported, then the relevant authorities may not be aware of what has occurred.
In an emergency, if there is a risk to life, report flooding to 999.
For other emergency reporting, who you report the flooding to will depend on the source of the flood: www.gov.uk/report-flood-cause

For ordinary watercourses / surface water / groundwater / roads: Wiltshire Council
Flooding can also be reported to Wiltshire Council via the MyWilts app, non-emergency www.wiltshire.gov.uk/mywilts-online-reporting

Parish Council Community Grants
The Parish Council is able to make small grants to any local organisation that provides community services to the village.
In 2016 the Council gave a grant to Wiltshire Citizens Advice cabwiltshire.org.uk/ whose trained volunteers offer free advice to all Swallowcliffe Residents.
In 2017 the Council gave a grant to Tisbus tisbus.co.uk/ in recognition of the service that it offers to the Village.
In 2018 & 2019 the Council didn't have a grants pot as the Council had taken on a few large projects.
In 2020 the Council has resolved not to budget for grants.
In 2021 the Council granted Wiltshire Search & Rescue £100.00 and Wiltshire Citizens Advice £100.00
